Guest Speaker: Christine O’Brien-Mase, Sussex County Teacher of the Year

The Somerset County School Boards Association will celebrate the many accomplishments of districts and board members during the Spring Celebrations Dinner and Meeting on Thursday, May 18, 2023.

Board Members will be recognized for achievements, including awards granted since the Spring of 2022 for New Board Member Boardsmanship Certification (NBM); Certified Board Member (CBM); Master Board Member (MBM); and Certified Board Leader (CBL). We will also recognize Milestone Awards for Board Members for years of service! Please join us to honor your fellow board members.

We are very excited that Christine O’Brien-Mase, an Art and Photography Teacher at Sparta High School in the Sparta Township School District, has been named the 2022 – 2023 Sussex County Teacher of the Year. Christine will be our guest speaker for our Spring Meeting so that he may share a few words with the Board
